Growing Faith Ministries, Women of Fire

A ministry of Growing Faith Ministries, the Women of Fire was established by Pastor John for the building up of women in the body of Christ with “Ms. Jill” as it’s leader. Our fellowships are set for women to be transformed to become women of Prayer, Passion, Power, Purpose, and Prowess, a.k.a., a Woman of Fire and teaching others to do the same, warriors, transforming to transform.

Fire is a visible, tangible side effect of matter changing form. Fire when in contact with other material ignites it, it gives off light, heat, and flame. With wisdom we are to ignite others to accept and grow in Christ Jesus. When Pastor John asked what I wanted to do with the Women of Fire, without hesitation the first thought that came to my mind was to build an Army. 

A Women Of Fire Is A Soldier!

A spiritual minded, Army of Women who are transformed into the image of Jesus Christ, knowing; who they are in Christ Jesus, the Word of God, their authority, how to walk in it and to teach others to do the same, “Transforming to Transform.” We do this by Prayer, Passion, Power, Purpose and Prowess: 

• Prayer - Is a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:18
• Passions - it is to walk with a strong feeling of fervor or excitement for the things of God. The things that concern God are the things that concern us. Putting more energy than it is required to do it, yet not in our own strength, but that which comes from God.
• Power - The ability to do something; the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events; a right or authority that is given or delegated to by God, “…Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19
• Purpose – Our reason to do what we do, why we exist. Our purpose is for His Glory ...“Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:7
• Prowess – Is skill or expertise in a particular activity or field. Ours is to know how to handle the Word of God, with all wisdom knowledge and spiritual understanding. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;” 2 Corinthians 10:4 

Since our conception we have established:

• Monthly Fellowships, a time of fun,food and fellowship, food as we learn and grow together.
• Our  Conference & Retreat started in 2013 and have been held at Callaway Gardens and The Cove, Billy Graham's Training Center. Our topics were, “Could You Tarry One Hour,” on prayer, “The Whole Armor of God,” “Forgiving One Another”, “The Bait of Satan”, “ The Exposing of Hidden Strongholds”,  “There Is More” and “This is How I Fight My Battle”.
• “Knees on the Ground”, is our prayer line, praying seven days a week, 365 days a year, began in August 2014, now with intercessors from across the United Sates.
• Our 1st Women’s Workshop, “Getting to the Root of the Matter,” was held in January 2016.
• More workshops are being scheduled!
